Renovation of a large estate situated in a panoramic position on Montemarcello hill in Liguria from which one can admire the Apuan Alps southward and Porto Venere northward. The property consists in several, scattered small houses and a main villa that developed around an ancient watchtower as a spontaneously grown body resulting from additions through time. The genesis of the project, which also complies with the βtendenciesβ of the local landscaping commission, foresees the recovery of all the bodies in the estate paying particular attention to the main villa, where the work concentrates on realizing an ample open-space on the ground floor which hosts the kitchen and dining room facing the garden through wide glass doors.
